Wear plate by hardfacing

We, Jung Won Engineering Co., Ltd. manufacture wear plate by hardfacing with special welding alloys on the base plate of carbon steel.

We developed unique welding method so as to give a homogeneous dispersion of chrome carbides in the matrix when welding. The performance of our wear plate, for that reason, is excellent in anti-abrasion, high-temperature resistance (max. 800°C) and impact resistance.

Welding Alloys Korea Ltd. that is our associated company, manufactures a various welding alloys. Many kinds of welding alloys are chosen for manufacturing the relevant kinds of wear plates, according to chemical composition, hardness and temperature required of wear plates.

There are also a variety of shapes and sizes available in our wear plates. Bending of wear plates is possible in circle or semi-circle to the extent that a radius is equal to 20 times the thickness of wear plate. Standard sizes are these three: 790mm x 1700mm, 1100mm x 2,300mm and 1320mm x 2880mm, but other sizes are available at our client's request. Besides, we can weld for hardfacing on the inside of elbow's by using an automatic arc welder.
